Problem sewing Hypalon
I started out with my first diy project and already stumbled upon a problem/
I'm trying to sew Hypalon but my thread curls on the underside of the fabric.
I think the problem is with the sewing thread because I have the same result on a piece of cordura.
I bought this thread

What would be better thread or is there another solution.
Thanks.

Is it the upper thread or the bobbin thread that curls?

Most likely your upper thread tension is way too low.
I experimented with the thread tension and its getting better. :-)
Its my wifes sewing machine so I have to be carefull ......
Standard sewing machines needles may be a number too small. Type 40 thread is of substantial thickness which you may find not all standard machines like...
So what you may try as well to find out what's going on is to use one of your wife's threads and see if that works without curls... (Of course: same thread tension, same fabric)
